Working hours: Weekday and/or weekends (including half-terms & summer break) 

 

Salary: £11 per hour

Hours are based on the sessions we provide, for example, a session may consist of 2.5 hours in the morning and 2.5 hours in the afternoon. Can be flexible on hours to accommodate for a work-life balance. Session times may change based on demand.

Come and join the Jumping Juniors team!

 

The Jumping Juniors Stay and Play Studio is opening its doors in January 2024 in Central Crowborough, and we need an enthusiastic, trustworthy individual to help oversee the venue’s operations. 

 

Stay and Play is a place for parents, carers and young children to come and relax, play, and participate in activities such as messy play, baby sensory and free play. We will be incorporating seasonal themes into our activities to keep it interesting and offering additional activities to older children in half-term's and summer breaks.

Responsibilities

​​

• Provide fantastic customer service to all adults, children and suppliers.

• Opening and closing the studio, ensuring that alarms are set. 

• Prepare and serve refreshments and cakes.

• Ensure the setting is clean and tidy. 

• Adhere to health and safety procedures, including food safety. 

• Undertake cleaning procedures and inspections. 

• Report defective equipment. 

• Assist in the supervision of the play area and ensure that children are playing safely. 

• Set up activities prior to sessions starting

Candidate Requirements

 

• ​Experience and passion working with young children

• Experience in sales and customer service

• Social media experience (desirable)

• Basic Food Hygiene Qualification (desirable)

• First aid trained (desirable)

• DBS check (desirable)

 

Additional details

• This is a zero hours contract

• Bonus and incentives based on performance

• Holiday pay is inclusive of hourly rate

• Uniform will be provided

• Applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check

Successful candidate will be required to:

• Provide two references

• Undertake basic food safety, first aid training if not acquired already
